90's Rave inspired

Goodmorning Folks,

For this blogpost I would like to tell a cool story about the bomberjacket I'm wearing for this outfit. I always thought that the original bomber jacket is something from the late 80's/90's but it goes waaaaaaaaayyyy back. 

It was mostly seen at some thereotype subcultures as punk, 90's rave, skinheads and 'gabbers', but I never knew that it started as a military Flight jacket, worn at World War I & II. It was created for pilots. the trend started at 1915 in the US army to keep the pilots warm during flying.   

It was set up a manufacturing trend in the United Kingdom in 1926, and became the main outwear of flight jackets for the Royal Air Force during most of world war II. 

However, the demand during the early years of the war was so great that the Irvin company engaged subcontractors, which explains the slight variations of design and colour that can be seen in early production of the Irvin flying jackets.

I styled this look using this jacket more like people did in the 90's rave subcultures, because that fits my personal style more. The 90's rave trend is huge right now...cropped tops mixed with neon and geek chic. 

It was upcoming that time to experiment with diffrent hairstyles, not only for girls but also for boys like braids, dots, colored and shaved hairstyles or a combination of them. With this look I would like to bring the hairstyle back to the street, that can be worn for a casual look. Thanks Luciënne for the hair!

The Bomber jacket is from Episode, the blue jeans is from Levi, the netshirt is from Antony Morato and the black pattent shoes are the 2.0 wings Adidas designed by Jeremy Scott .

Cotton Candy Casual

Hello my sweet readers!

For this look I wanted something colorfull, something compfy and something warm, cause it was a real cold day while we shot this pictures. 

What color is brighter than neon pink. This neon pink tie dye sweater in combination with the sporty adidas cobalt blue bag, gives  the look colorblock to the max. 

The neon pink sweather is vintage, the cobalt blue bag is from Adidas, blue jeans is from Cheap Monday and black and white KISS platforms are from TUK underground shoes. Fishhook bracelet by Weekday

Hello hello,

For this blogpost neoncolors and a bit of Gold. This galaxy/paint/graffiti kinda shirt gives the look a real fresh vibe with da neonpink shorts. Neon colors never gets old, a MUST for the summer!? YAZZZ!! But keep it simple;)

Hi People,

1 vest 2 outfits is about the white leather vest I'm wearing. It's really easy to wear something like this because it's basic, timeless and real easy to combine with other styles from different subcultures. It can give a real basic outfit more edgyness. Its fresh with the salmond shirt underneath it and screams for spring!

Hi fishies!!

Weekend almost over! For this last day of the weekend I got inspired by the blue sky, flowers and the colours of the city Amsterdam. The denim vest is a must have, something timeless and is supér to combine! The black leather bag recycled. It's made of leatherpants, what sounds really cool to me! Everything looks so much brighter in sunlight! We need this everyday I think ;)

Shirt is by Bellfield, sunglasses R from the Episode, Denim vest is vintage Levi's, pants by Cheap Monday, and the shoes by Nike Airforce 1.

Hi There!

For this outfitpost I felt like a 90s KID again. Denim blue dungarees was something I used to wear when I was a little boy. Most compy jeans to play in. This also gave me such a spring feeling as Well!  

The blue denim Dungarees is from Zara 2014 spring collection, the wayfarer sunglasses with Clear frame and color mirror lens unknown the grey leather bag is from the Episode and the black cotton sneaker from Cheap Monday

Hi Guys,

For this third post I'll post 2 outfits. I was inspired bij R&B music and the punk scène. The neonpink hair is colored hairwax for the punk vibes. I like to mix different subcultures, that'll give you a fresh view in fashion. Fashion is limitless ya know, no rules no nothing;). Dare to think out of the box, get inspired and create!!! 

The first outfit: the black cap is from H&M, Neckles is vintage, the white net sweather and sweatpants are both from the Zara and the white timeless sneakers R the Nike air force 1.

The second outfit: the black leathers fur jacket is from Sneaker Freak, the leather shirt is from a thriftshop, blue washed pants is a Cheap Monday and the black steel cap boots R Dr.Martens.
